Did you all notice that John McCain is old?

The Carpetbagger Report points out that this little nugget has only be lightly discussed in the media, but seriously. Dude is 71 and that doesn’t get the electorate’s heart pitter-pattering.
Latest polls have Clinton beating McCain by six and Obama beating him by 12. It helps to have policies people are interested in and like, and to not look frail.
I hate to say it, but McCain is one “Bob Dole falls off a stage” incident away from blowing this whole thing.
Bob Dole, also a decorated war vet, was also a septuagenarian, clocking in at 73 when he was on the trail. He had some war injury issues as well. None of this helped when he fell of the stage, face first, at a campaign event in 1996. Americans don’t like to vote for presidents who don’t look virile.
Now take Barack.

That looks like a dude who won’t fall off a stage. Very presidential. Think about it people. No one wants to say it out loud, but we don’t want to pull a William Henry Harrison.
I’m just keeping it real.
