NPR’s News and Notes with The Snob!

I, Danielle Belton aka “The Snob,” will be NPR News and Notes with Farai Chideya (and some other black bloggers) April 30th, this Wednesday, 7 p.m. central standard time. Enjoy my deep dulcet-rich, radio-friendly tones as channeled through a very loud black woman and a nondescript, Midwestern flavored accent smothered liberally in a non-sexy layering of suburban white guy who says “dude” a lot. And I will try not to say “dude.”

But I promise nothing.

I’ll be on during a 15 minute roundtable discussion. I don’t know where those fifteen minutes will fall in the hour long show as … ahem … I’ve never listened to it before.

Hopefully there will not be a pop quiz.

    It’s a really good show.I’ll listen from the web.Good luck!And please, take you sense-of-humor and crank it up. The world needs to see that Black women are smart and funny at the same time. You are the funniest Black woman I have seen since…maybe Moms Mabley records since I was little.

    I love that show! I wish they would have a show dedicated just to the roundtable. I have discovered quite a few black blogs through that show. I discovered your blog indirectly through the show. The show lead me to a blog that led me to you. I can’t wait to hear you!

    That is so cool! I’ve been away for a bit so I’m reading all of your stuff and eating it up! (I feel like I’ve been on a deserted island forever and now I’m back and watching the episodes I missed of all my favorite shows…) Long live The Black Snob!
