This morning on Fox and Friends, Glenn Beck said he thinks Pres. Barack Obama has “a deep-seeded hatred for white people.” Brian Kilmeade questioned him on it, but Beck persisted: “I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people, I’m saying he has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist.”
This afternoon, Bill Shine, SVP of Programming told TVNewser, “During Fox & Friends this morning, Glenn Beck expressed a personal opinion which represented his own views, not those of the Fox News Channel. And as with all commentators in the cable news arena, he is given the freedom to express his opinions.”
Beck, who is, in fact, fundamentally insane, shouldn’t be taken seriously by anyone, but his multi-million dollar salary and hit show sadly say otherwise. But how crazy are you when even the network is drafting “I’m NOT with stupid” statements? I mean, it’s FOX and even they’re like “Woah. We were fine with the is he a secret Muslim controlled by Jews born in Kenya Socialist terrorist-lover, but now you’ve gone TOO FAR!”
Once again, this is about Glenn Beck projecting his own racial issues onto the president more than being about the president at all. We get it, Glenn. You want to be able to wear your hood on television. Go ahead. I won’t impede your right to free speech.
